Our client, a Top Tier 1 IT Services Company, is seeking a skilled professional for the role of Nutanix cloud in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess 3 to 9 years of relevant experience and will be hired as an Associate or Senior Associate on a permanent basis. A full-time bachelor's degree is the basic qualification required for this position. As a Nutanix cloud specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks related to Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure, Nutanix Cloud Management, Nutanix Prism, Nutanix Guest Tools, and Nutanix AHV. Additionally, familiarity with Nutanix Central, Nutanix Calm, Nutanix Leap, Nutanix Era, and Nutanix Flow is considered a secondary skill. The detailed job description requires a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Nutanix and VMware platforms. Your role will involve designing new facilities on the Nutanix environment, mentoring team members, translating business requirements into technology solutions, ensuring service uptime as per SLA, conducting POCs, capacity management, and troubleshooting on Nutanix platforms like AHV and Prism central. To excel in this role, you must have hands-on experience in VM migration, hardware platforms like Lenovo and Cisco UCS Manager, Cisco UCS profile creation, virtualization networking, Nutanix Flow segmentation, NSX, NCM, and adherence to process and change management protocols. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, customer service-oriented, possess good communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. You should also have a keen interest in staying updated with new developments and trends in the field. Preferred certifications include Nutanix Certified Professional - Multicloud Infrastructure and NCM.
