Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to virtualization, storage integration, and disaster recovery. Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery for client environments. Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver tailored solutions. Monitor and report on virtualization environment health, backup status, and compliance with best practices. Stay current with technology advancements, security threats, and industry best practices. Participate in an on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical incidents. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Virtualization Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role within an MSP or enterprise environment. Expert-level experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), or Nutanix HCI (Prism, AHV, Acropolis). Proven experience configuring and managing Veeam Backup & Replication for virtualized environments. Solid understanding of networking and storage concepts as they relate to virtualization. Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Power CLI, etc.) is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
