Job Title : Nutanix L3 Engineer (Candidate Engineer) Experience: 8+ yrs Location : Navi Mumbai Job Type : Full-time Job Description : As a Nutanix L3 Engineer, you will be responsible for advanced technical support, implementation, and optimization of Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions for enterprise clients. You will handle complex technical issues, provide expertise in Nutanix technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance of Nutanix environments. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Nutanix products, including Prism Central and AHV, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities : Advanced Support : Provide Level 3 technical support for Nutanix HCI, including troubleshooting complex issues related to Nutanix Prism Central, AHV (Nutanix Hypervisor), and associated components. Implementation and Configuration : Deploy, configure, and optimize Nutanix clusters, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : Conduct in-depth analysis of incidents, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Automation and Optimization : Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., using Python or Ansible) to streamline Nutanix operations and enhance system efficiency. Collaboration : Work with engineering teams, vendors, and clients to resolve escalated issues and provide technical guidance on Nutanix solutions. Documentation and Training : Create detailed technical documentation and mentor junior engineers or L1/L2 teams on Nutanix technologies. Monitoring and Maintenance : Utilize tools like Nutanix Prism and third-party monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds) to ensure system health and performance. Customer Success : Engage with clients to understand their needs, recommend Nutanix-based solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Qualifications : Experience: Minimum of 23 years of hands-on experience with Nutanix technologies, including Prism Central and AHV. 5–10 years of total experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years focused on Nutanix HCI or virtualization platforms. Experience with VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms is a plus. Technical Skills: Expertise in Nutanix HCI, including cluster management, storage, and networking configurations. Proficiency with Nutanix tools like Prism Central, Flow, and AHV. Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) and scripting for Nutanix environments. Knowledge of storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS) and server hardware (e.g., Cisco UCS) is advantageous. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Cherwell) and monitoring tools. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Certifications : Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or higher (e.g., NCAP, NCSE) is highly preferred. VMware certifications (e.g., VCP) or equivalent are a plus. Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
