Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:Providing bedside care, including assistance with personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
Vital Signs Monitoring:Regularly checking and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Medication Administration:Administering medications as prescribed by doctors, including injections and intravenous infusions.
Wound Care:Performing dressing changes, wound irrigation, and other wound care procedures.
Specimen Collection:Collecting urine, blood, and other samples for laboratory testing.
Patient Education:Explaining medications, procedures, and disease management to patients and their families.
Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate and detailed patient charts, including observations, treatments, and responses to care.
Collaboration:Working with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Emergency Response:Providing immediate care in emergency situations, such as responding to changes in vital signs or injuries.
Equipment Operation:Using medical equipment like oxygen therapy devices, suction machines, and patient monitoring systems.
Patient Advocacy:Ensuring patients' needs are met and advocating for their well-being.
