JOB DESCRIPTION MEDICAL OFFICER Overall responsibility of the clinical coordination of the concerned patients. To provide all medical care to all the patients arriving to respective areas and ensure prompt and accurate medical attention. Immediately attend to cases & provide immediate first-aid services. Handling all emergency cases independently. Timely and accurate diagnosis in order to fix up the immediate course of action. To advise testsmedicines for immediate relief and ensure proper care till patient referred to the concerned department. Coordinate with other departments for various tests to be conducted for patients and follow-up for report. Refer cases to concerned departments where the patient needs secondary level of care. Ensure proper medical & supervise nursing care to patients. Co-ordinates with nurses and departments of supportive paramedical dept. to ensure required medical attention to the patient. Exercise functional control over nurses and other staff for proper running and maintenance of the department Handling any queries / clarifications of patient relatives. To ensure compliance of patient care as per medical standards. Any other job assigned from time to time.
