Job Title : Nursing In-Charge – Emergency Department

Location : Pala- Erattupetta Road, Kaduvamuzhi, Erattupetta, Kerala 686121

Experience Required:

Minimum 10 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 8 years in Emergency/Casualty and 1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and support emergency department nursing staff.
• Ensure prompt, high-quality emergency care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Monitor patient triage, treatment, and flow to reduce wait times and improve outcomes.
• Handle staffing, scheduling, shift handovers, and emergency resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines.
• Train and guide junior nurses; support skill development and crisis handling.
• Collaborate with emergency physicians and hospital management for seamless operations.
• Maintain detailed patient records, incident reports, and performance metrics.
• Oversee equipment availability, emergency supply inventory, and request replenishments.
• Act as a liaison with patient relatives, providing timely updates and support.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with valid Nursing Council Registration.
• Minimum 5 years of hospital nursing experience (Emergency Department preferred).
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge of emergency procedures and trauma care.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and team management skills.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and high-pressure scenarios.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
