Job Title: Pre-Primary Coordinator Location: Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh Reporting To: Principal / Head of School Department: Pre-Primary (Nursery to KG) Job Summary: The Pre-Primary Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the overall functioning and academic excellence of the pre-primary section. This includes curriculum planning, teacher supervision, student development, and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment aligned with early childhood education best practices. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum & Planning: Design and implement an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum based on EYFS/NEP/other frameworks as applicable. Plan activities to foster holistic development cognitive, emotional, social, and motor skills. Ensure integration of play-based and experiential learning methods. Academic Supervision: Monitor and guide pre-primary teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and effective delivery. Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback. Organize regular training sessions/workshops for teaching staff. Student Development: Track individual student progress and support differentiated learning. Ensure safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom environments. Address behavioral or developmental concerns in coordination with parents and counselors. Administration: Maintain academic records, reports, and documentation. Coordinate with school management for resource requirements and planning. Lead parent orientation programs and regular PTMs. Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of pre-primary teachers and assistants. Promote collaboration and a positive team culture. Handle scheduling, substitutions, and leave planning within the department. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate in Early Childhood Education / Child Psychology / Education B.Ed / ECCEd or equivalent certification is mandatory Minimum 5 years of experience in early years teaching; 2+ years in a leadership/coordination role preferred Key Skills: Strong understanding of child development and early learning pedagogy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Leadership and team management abilities Patience, empathy, and creativity Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic school ERP systems Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years
