Job Description

Monitor patients and record their vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, etc.) Give medicines and injections as per doctor’s instructions. Assist doctors during rounds, treatments, and minor procedures. Maintain hygiene and infection control in patient areas. Keep patient files and reports updated. Help with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Follow safety and emergency procedures properly. Assist in preparing patients for tests or surgeries. Inform doctors or supervisors if the patient’s condition changes. Inform patients before any procedure (before taking blood sample. At time of shift end, handover proper written instruction to another staff on duty Count stock of medicine and other material and equioment and give in over Provide Patient care like Oral care, Catheter care and RT Care to pts Return Nearby Expiry medicine to pharmacy Check and charge bio medical equipment regularly Take over the charge from duty nurse of previous shift, regarding patients (bed to bed), instrument supplies, drugs etc. and handed over the same to the next shift.
