You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons tailored for IIT-JEE foundation students, keeping in line with NCERT and competitive exam syllabi. Your focus will be on teaching various topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, and Number Systems with a specific emphasis on IIT concepts. Additionally, you will prepare students conceptually for Olympiads, NTSE, and upcoming JEE-level challenges by developing comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and conducting regular assessments. Identifying learning gaps and providing necessary remediation or advanced support as required will be a part of your responsibilities. You will also conduct doubt-clearing sessions and offer one-on-one mentoring when needed. Maintaining student performance records, sharing feedback with parents and coordinators, collaborating with peers for curriculum planning, and integrating best teaching practices will be key aspects of your role. Moreover, active participation in internal trainings and academic reviews is expected. To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics or a related field (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Tech), with a preference for B.Ed. although not mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Maths at the foundation or competitive level is required. Number systems including Binary, Decimal, Octal, and Hexadecimal, along with conversions between these systems. Understanding signed and unsigned integers, floating-point representation, and bitwise operations such as AND, OR, NOT, XOR, NAND, NOR, and shift operations. Arithmetic operations across number systems, concepts and methods for calculating GCD and LCM, basics of modulo arithmetic, it's principles. Principles of counting, permutations and combinations (with and without repetition), and their real-life applications. Core probability concepts including basic rules, simple probability, and conditional probability. Matrix representation and operations including addition, multiplication, and determinants. Applications in graph representation and linear transformations. Understanding arithmetic and geometric series along with common summation techniques. Fundamentals of set theory, operations like union, intersection, and difference, usage of Venn diagrams, Cartesian products. Requirements: M.Tech or MSc Maths + NET Cleared or Ph.D in Mathematics. Prior experience in teaching or tutoring Mathematics or related topics is an added advantage. Passion for teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to student success.
