Industry: System Integration Company Job Type: Full-Time Location: Chennai Experience Required: 0–5 Years Age Preference: 19 - 25 Years Salary: ₹12,000–15,000 (Based on experience and qualifications) Position Summary: The Accountant will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, managing client/vendor accounts, overseeing inwards and outwards logistics accounting, and ensuring timely billing and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting within hardware, retail, or IT solutions sectors. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Operations: Manage and record all inward and outward transactions related to hardware inventory, client deliveries, and vendor purchases. Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including petty cash, ledger maintenance, and expense tracking. Prepare and manage client quotations, proforma invoices, and tax invoices. Track payments received and follow up with clients for pending dues. Manage GST input/output reconciliation and ensure TDS compliance. Inventory & Billing Support: Coordinate with the warehouse and sales team for accurate billing and stock movement entries. Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock adjustments. Generate sales and purchase reports periodically for internal review. Client & Vendor Management: Maintain proper communication with clients regarding billing and payment queries. Liaise with hardware suppliers and vendors for payment schedules and reconciliations. Maintain a database of client billing history and vendor pricing. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related discipline. 0 to 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the IT hardware/solutions industry. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and general ledger management. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel. Good understanding of hardware components and terminology is an added advantage. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a PC hardware business or IT hardware retail environment. Freshers with internship experience in hardware/IT finance or client billing will be considered.
