MANAGER - INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS Company Profile To serve reputed USA based export organisation Position Manager - International Logistics Qualification Bachelor's degree in operations, logistics, business administration, transportation. Preference to Bachelor's degree in supply chain management. JOB Capable to communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders DESCRIPTION and customers. Independently capable to book shipment considering best rates as available in the shipping logistic routes Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements Monitoring, Tracking & Reporting of Shipments along with its financials. Skills Capable in handling Trucking, Drayage, Ocean freight bookings and preferred knowledge of AES system Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles Strong team player, ability to manage, coach, and provide training to subordinates Effective communication skill especially in English Pay Package As per industry norms Experience Min 10+ years of relevant experience Office Location Kolkata, India. C) Should have good in English communication (writing) skills. D) Remain accountable and take responsibility of own desk. E) Ability to learn and intend to grow. Organisation will provide training to selected candidates. F) Energetic and Vibrant personality. Activities: A) Booking of daily entries in accounting software. B) Maintain two or three books of accounts. C) Monitor and collect information from multiple sources – emails, contracts, agreements, etc to books financial transaction. D) Daily MIS and coordination with management to provide updated information. E) Participate in finalisation of Books of Accounts.
