Roles and Responsibilities Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures by explaining procedures, positioning them on the gantry table, and ensuring their comfort during imaging. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment such as gamma cameras, PET scanners, and other related devices. Administer radioactive materials (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients according to prescribed dosages. Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities or concerns to physicians or radiologists. Maintain accurate records of patient data, test results, and equipment maintenance schedules.
