As the Compliance and Safety Lead Engineer at Arabelle Solutions, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all project/product designs adhere to the company's engineering rules, processes, contractual agreements, and relevant technical regulations and standards. You will be accountable for obtaining design approvals from Notified Bodies, Third Parties, and Country Authorities, as well as preparing technical and safety files to facilitate the declaration of conformity for the products/assemblies. Working within the Compliance, Qualification & Safety Engineering team, the Compliance and Safety Lead Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring that all activities and deliverables align with Arabelle Solutions" standards, project requirements, regulations, codes, and country-specific mandates. From supporting tendering processes to executing project tasks, your responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities aimed at maintaining compliance, safety, and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities also include conducting technical risk analyses, coordinating with external parties such as suppliers and regulatory bodies, and ensuring that all engineering teams follow the prescribed standards and procedures. Additionally, you will be involved in addressing regulatory issues, managing technical documentation, and overseeing the completion of regulatory technical files in alignment with the requirements of Notified Bodies, Third Parties, and Authorities. As a key decision-maker in technical choices related to certification and safety compliance, you will provide recommendations on selecting Notified Bodies/Third Parties and collaborate closely with internal engineering teams. Your performance will be measured based on key performance indicators such as process efficiency, timely setup of compliance activities, and adherence to local country regulations. To qualify for this role, you must hold an engineering degree or equivalent qualification, with experience in plant engineering compliance, EU directives/regulations, and standards management. Additional desirable competencies include a background in environmental studies, nuclear power plant regulations, and certifications, along with proficiency in English language skills.
