The Engineering Manager will lead a high-performing team of data engineers specializing in Azure cloud platforms and Python-based analytics/automation, driving technical execution for robust, scalable, and secure enterprise data systems. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership and client-facing collaboration, supporting Nuaav's commitment to delivering precision-driven, innovative results. Responsibilities Lead and mentor data engineers building solutions on Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks using Python. Architect and oversee the development of scalable data pipelines, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity. Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver business-driven data platforms and BI/ML solutions. Enforce best practices in ETL design, data integration, big data processing, and cloud DevOps (CI/CD). Optimize and monitor workflows for efficiency and reliability, including troubleshooting, tuning, and documentation. Stay current on industry trends and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Support client engagements, translating business needs into technical requirements and successful project delivery. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in data engineering with team leadership exposure. Expert in Azure cloud services and advanced Python scripting (PySpark, data automation). Proficient with SQL, data warehousing, and scalable architecture designs. Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments. Excellent communication, project management, and client interaction skills. Desired Skills Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Blob Storage. Python (including PySpark), SQL, big data frameworks (Spark). Cloud DevOps (GitHub, Docker, Terraform).
