Job Description: Virtualization & Device Driver Engineer (NPU over Xen) Project Overview This project focuses on enabling virtualized access to a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in a Xen-based environment. It involves driver development, emulation, and hypervisor integration to support NPU deployment across guest and host systems. Responsibilities Virtio Driver Development for Linux DOM-U Design and implement a virtio-based frontend driver for NPU support in guest Linux environments. Ensure compatibility with Linux kernel versions and optimize data path for low-latency NPU interaction. IOMMU Driver Integration & Enhancements Modify and extend IOMMU drivers to allow secure and efficient DMA access for NPU devices. Work closely with Xens IOMMU subsystem to support passthrough configurations and memory isolation. DOM-0 Development on Ubuntu Host Create QEMU device emulation for NPU on the Xen host side.
