As an Associate II- Engineering Design at UST, your role as NPME Mechanical Creo will involve coordinating the release of new products or product improvements with Engineering functions. You will be responsible for releasing Super BOM to support Phase Gate Exists and performing Virtual build to detect manufacturing build issues early. Additionally, you will determine the best manufacturing strategy, sourcing strategy, packaging, and shipping strategy for the responsible module. Your responsibilities will include launching, releasing, approving, and implementing engineering change orders or Non-Standard Requests to support design engineering and floor for new/existing products. You will support New Product documentation by creating OMS for NPI/CIP Builds and maintaining Master Layout. Collaborating with Design SMEs in the development of Tooling Design & Testing fixtures will be essential to achieve quality and productive manufacturing build. Participating in New Product Builds, you will conduct root cause analysis for issues during assembly and/or test of systems and drive short-term and long-term corrective actions. You will interface between operations, design engineering, and Global Product management to implement feasible solutions following corporate processes to resolve supplier, build, and field issues. Strong skills in Product technology, change management, problem-solving, communication, customer orientation, personal effectiveness, team collaboration, and quality are required for this role.
