The Renewable Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of the renewable energy industry in US and Europe, assessing market trends and developments, monitoring project pipelines and conducting data analysis. The analyst will collaborate closely with NPM's editorial, customer service and products team to produce a range of research products for clients including market reports, data charts, news articles, and event keynotes. New Project Media (NPM) is looking for an experienced Mumbai based Curation Analyst with 3-5 years of work experience in journalism to support our North American renewable energy focused market data and intelligence platform. The Curation Analyst role will involve sourcing and summarizing news for renewable energy projects we cover in North America including solar and battery energy storage technologies. Applicants must be able to work 40 hours per week remotely in flexible shifts. Key Accountabilities · Find and summarize key time sensitive news for renewable energy projects we cover in North America. · Review press releases, local news sources and local permitting filings daily and highlight the most relevant content in a condensed form, with each summary being less than 500 words. · Work closely with our North American based Managing Editor and Reporters to determine which summaries should be prioritized. Skills & Requirements - · Excellent English speaking and writing skills. 3-5 years of work experience in journalism, particularly at a financial or industry focused publication. · · A deep understanding of our product and the needs of our subscriber base. A Postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism would be preferred. The candidate will be able to partially overlap with American time zones as and when necessary. We’re recruiting for a second position that requires very good English reading and writing skills.
