You have a great opportunity to join our team as a Test Engineer with 6-9 years of experience in test engineering. In this role, you will be working in product-based environments, focusing on electrical-electronics-based modules, system, and product level testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting V&V in product-based environments, specifically with UPS products, batteries, chargers, power electronics, automated control-based systems, and communication protocols. - Generating high-level test conditions/use case scenarios, detailed test cases, scripts, and maintaining them in tools like Gitlab, Testmo, Rally, JIRA, or equivalent tools. - Planning test environments/setups and creating test setups for testing with hardware environment. - Preparing Test Reports & Summary reports, reporting project status, challenges, and risks to leads. - Reviewing product requirements and design specifications to ensure alignment with product/software development and test plans. - Driving test automation, independent verification, and validation of electronic/electrical systems/subsystems/products. - Developing and advocating test strategy and test platforms across diversified business segments. - Having hands-on experience with AC/DC low and high voltage embedded-electrical systems, including UPS, power supplies, AC/DC Converters, chargers, batteries. - Exposure to standard engineering tools for requirement management and analysis, test management, defect tracking tools, and configuration management. - Basic working knowledge in power/electrical engineering, including AC and DC power <20kVA circuits, microprocessor, microcontroller, sensor interfacing, firmware interfacing, DC batteries, connectors/wire-harnesses. - Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, SLDs, and component identification. - Operating in an electrical testing lab environment safely and successfully. - Working within matrixed environments and having a good understanding of product development life cycle, NPDI, NPD processes. - Strong problem-solving, engineering troubleshooting, and analytical skills, capable of solving technical issues with minimal monitoring/guidance. - Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills. - Multitasking and effective collaboration with cross-functional global development teams. - Experience in UPS and power electronics development/engineering is preferred. - Experience in XIL based testing (Model in Loop - MIL, Software in Loop - SIL, and Hardware in Loop) using industry platforms like Vector, Speedgoat, dBase will be an added advantage. - ISTQB certification is a plus.
