Job Summary

We are seeking a Associate Engineer / Junior Engineer to join our team in NPD Tool Makers.

This role will be responsible for:

• Managing production orders for new tool development.
• To visit supplier site, be it local, national or international and get involved during tool assembly and validation.
• Should be flexible to work in any shifts and different sites in case of requirement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the record of Tool trials.
• Understanding assembly and detail drawings of the tool thoroughly.
• Have good co-ordination and communication with CFT team.
• Managing production orders for new tool development
• Monitoring and improving the OTD of New Tools.
• Maintaining the records of tool transfer.
• Planning and scheduling New Tool Delivery.
• Implementing and monitoring the quality systems in the department.
• Participating in Department review meetings.
• Participating in Design review meetings.
• Involving in APQP process.
• Coordinating New development activities with HOD.
• Maintaining the 5S and Safety in the department.
• Maintain IATF documents.
• Knowledge about SPC and PPAP.
• Assemble & Fitting Complex and New Tools .
• Debugging New Tools.
• Training the Unskilled Tool Makers.
• Guiding the Tool Makers in Complex Tools.
• Carrying-out, Set-up and Tool Maintenance activities.
• Conduct first piece inspection and record data and confirm before production start-up.
• Maintaining the safety norms on the shopfloor.
• Involving in Improvement activities like SGA and CIP.
• Maintaining good housekeeping.
• Carrying out the documentation work.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical.
• 1-6 Yrs Experience preferred.
