The Product Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing all New Product Development (NPD) activities within the Auto Components industry. This role involves managing projects related to New Development, Engineering Change Notice (ECN) projects, and ensuring the execution of Part Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Supplier Technical Quality (STQ) study, and process flow design. The Product Development Manager will also be in charge of obtaining Concept & Design approvals for Press tools, fixtures, and gauges. Additionally, the role requires preparing and implementing plans for the development of Press tools and gauges, ensuring compliance with quality standards outlined in drawings and specific requirements. The Product Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating sample submissions and approvals from customers and managing material handling for both new and existing products. Furthermore, this position involves finalizing processes, conducting time studies, executing line balancing, and overseeing line layout implementation to optimize production efficiency. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position in the Research & Development department, with the main focus on Engineering & Manufacturing.
