Location: Anywhere in India (Preferred is NCR / Bangalore) Experience: 5–7 years Certification: ServiceNow CIS–ITOM (Mandatory) About the Role We are seeking a ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) Subject Matter Expert with deep experience in Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping . As a CIS–ITOM Certified Specialist , you’ll design and implement solutions that bring operational visibility, proactive monitoring, and service reliability to enterprise IT environments. This role is ideal for someone passionate about service health, infrastructure visibility, and automation —and who thrives in delivering scalable ServiceNow ITOM solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead Implementations: Own the full lifecycle implementation of ITOM modules (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping). Build & Configure: Customize probes, sensors, event rules, service maps, and integrations with third-party monitoring and cloud tools. Deliver Visibility: Establish comprehensive CMDB population and enrichment to ensure accurate infrastructure and service data. Optimize Processes: Recommend and implement best practices for ITOM governance, event correlation, and service impact analysis. Enable Operations: Train IT staff, document technical designs, and perform smooth knowledge transfer. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–7 years of ServiceNow ITOM experience (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping). Hands-on expertise with: Discovery (credentials, patterns, probes, sensors). Event Management (alert rules, correlation, integrations). Service Mapping (dependencies, CMDB enrichment). Solid scripting & integration knowledge (JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server). Deep understanding of infrastructure, networking, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices . Mandatory Certification: ServiceNow CIS–ITOM. Preferred Skills Additional ServiceNow certifications (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, CSA). Experience with AIOps , cloud-native observability, and automated remediation.
