Key Responsibilities: Production Management Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the factory. Monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines. Optimize resource utilization (raw material, machinery, manpower). Staff Supervision Lead, train, and manage factory supervisors, operators, and workers. Ensure discipline, attendance, and productivity of all staff. Quality Control Implement and monitor quality assurance systems. Minimize defects, wastage, and rework. Ensure products meet internal and customer quality standards. Inventory & Material Management Coordinate with the purchase and store department for timely availability of raw materials. Monitor inventory levels and control stock wastage. Health & Safety Compliance Ensure all safety protocols are followed. Conduct regular safety drills and trainings. Maintenance & Equipment Ensure machines are regularly serviced and maintained. Minimize downtime due to technical faults. Reporting & Coordination Submit daily/weekly production and efficiency reports. Coordinate with design, sales, and dispatch teams for smooth operations. Cost & Efficiency Monitor factory costs and work on cost-saving measures. Improve production efficiency and reduce overheads. Requirements:Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in furniture or manufacturing industry. Skills: Leadership and team management. Strong problem-solving ability. Knowledge of production planning, quality standards, and safety norms. Familiarity with ERP/software systems (if used).
