Associate Cash Settlements Location: Bangalore (Hybrid 5 Days Working) Experience: 3+ years in Investment Banking / Capital Markets Operations Shift: Rotational Shifts Job Description We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Cash Settlements Operations team supporting APAC markets. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely settlement of equity and bond trades, managing risks, and collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver seamless trade operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform trade pre-matching, matching, and settlement activities. Manage trade fails and ensure timely resolution. Liaise with brokers, custodians, trading desks, client services, and compliance teams . Investigate and resolve Nostro and Depot breaks . Provide regular updates on trade status and escalate issues promptly. Ensure strict adherence to controls, checklists, and regulatory requirements . Drive process improvements and automation initiatives . Desired Candidate Profile: Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field. 3+ years experience in Trade Settlements / Capital Markets / Investment Banking Operations. Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (front-to-back) , with equities & bonds knowledge preferred. Exposure to APAC market settlements is an added advantage. Hands-on experience in fails management, reconciliations, and break resolution . Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools .
