As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and mitigating risks. Your role will involve hands-on experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, tools, and frameworks, as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will focus on application services mapping in ServiceNow, automation of ITAM processes, strong hands-on experience with discovery and normalization processes, proactive risk management, structured training for ITAM tools, and integration of ServiceNow with procurement and finance systems. Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking of hardware, software, and licenses, conducting software audits for compliance, optimizing software license allocation, maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), mitigating security risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations, identifying cost-saving strategies, driving process improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management or Software Asset Management, hands-on experience with ITAM tools like ServiceNow, SCCM, Flexera, or Snow License Manager, a strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and CMDB, proficiency in data analysis tools, excellent communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred certifications include ITIL v4 Certification and Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM). Nice-to-have skills include application architecture knowledge, integration experience, and relationship mapping experience. Candidates with relevant certifications and specific examples of ITAM experience will be given preference for this role.,
