You will be responsible for owning the design of integrated reports & dashboards in FP&A and R2R area, utilizing SAP BW/4HANA, SAC & Non-SAP technologies to support the Finance organization of ABB for both Management and external reporting. Your primary role will involve defining and maintaining the design of all management reporting reports and dashboards, collaborating with wider Finance process data and systems and IS teams of ABB. You will play a crucial role in interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing guidance to delivery teams, as well as guiding the building of reports and dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization. Collaborating with business process owners, you will define new data collection and analysis processes, ensuring functional designs are updated in alignment with evolving business demands. Your accountability will extend to collating and prioritizing business and functional use-cases, architecting and designing solutions to meet business needs, and managing the functional design of user-friendly analytics insights through continuous solutions delivery and feedback from customers and stakeholders. Additionally, you will ensure customer centricity and service excellence for internal stakeholders, peers, and customers, while contributing to data strategy and architecture discussions. Your role will involve supporting the validation and prioritization of incoming business demand, driving data reconciliations, identifying root causes, and facilitating resolution with respective teams. Moreover, you will be responsible for training business users on various data dashboards & reports built on SAP SAC, BW/HANA. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Master's degree in finance or computer science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in FP&A and/or R2R business process area in a large multinational setting, focusing on analytics and data modeling in cloud environments. Proficiency in accounting principles, agile delivery processes, and working collaboratively in diverse teams is essential. Familiarity with non-SAP data analytics environments like Snowflake is advantageous, complemented by strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a drive for continuous learning and technological mastery. Working closely with the Lead Data Architect Integrated Reporting and 1-2 Junior Functional Analysts, you will provide functional expertise and guidance in various areas: - Building functional architecture design and specifications, including data frameworks for ABB's management reporting landscape. - Analyzing data, interpreting results, and offering guidance to delivery teams. - Guiding the development of reports and dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization. - Applying innovation and creativity while balancing time-to-market, costs, performance, scalability, and long-term technology stability. - Collaborating with business process owners to define new data requirements, collection processes, and analysis methods. - Keeping functional designs up to date with evolving business demands and needs. - Prioritizing business and domain/functional use-cases to design solutions that meet business requirements. - Managing the functional design of user-friendly analytics insights through continuous solutions delivery and feedback. - Ensuring customer-centricity and service excellence for internal stakeholders, peers, and customers. To qualify for this role, you should possess: - A Master's degree in finance, computer science, or a related field. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A and/or R2R business process areas within large multinational corporations, with a focus on analytics and data modeling in cloud environments. - Proficiency in accounting principles, utilizing a single Chart of Accounts and applying US and local GAAP treatments. - Familiarity with IT processes, agile delivery, and working within cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development. - Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and derive insights from large datasets. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination across teams. - A drive to continuously learn and master new technologies and techniques.
