We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead the failure analysis lab in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex issues in the industry. As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee lab operations, set project priorities, drive improvements, and provide mentorship to staff engineers. Responsibilities: - Lead a team of failure analysis engineers, guiding them on lab strategies and goals. - Investigate products and materials using various analytical techniques to identify failure root causes. - Represent the failure analysis team in executive meetings, providing updates on major findings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address failures and implement corrective actions. - Coordinate with other internal labs to optimize project distribution and reduce turnaround times. - Develop new failure analysis methodologies to address emerging needs and stay updated on the latest technologies. - Ensure compliance with lab environmental and safety requirements. - Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Minimum Qualifications: - Master's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field. - 10+ years of experience in failure analysis and 5+ years in managing people. - Expertise in analyzing complex failures in microelectronics and consumer electronic products. - Proficiency in various analytical techniques and tools. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions. - Experience in managing lab operations. - Excellent communication skills and ability to lead multiple teams effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - PhD in relevant field. - Extensive experience in failure analysis and managing people. - Hands-on expertise in various analytical domains. - Strong leadership and initiative in improving lab efficiency and data quality.
