Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Node.js Developer Intern based in Bhopal. We are looking for a Backend Intern with 6 months of practical experience in Node.js and databases (MySQL/MongoDB) to support backend development and API services.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

Work with MySQL for relational schema design and CRUD operations.

Work with MongoDB for document-based data operations.

Implement basic authentication, authorization, and API validations.

Debug and optimize backend logic and queries.

Collaborate with frontend and product teams on feature development.

Follow coding guidelines, write clean API structures, and use Git for version control.

Required Skills

Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+).

Practical experience with Node.js and Express.js.

Basic MySQL knowledge (queries, joins, schema design).

Basic MongoDB knowledge (CRUD, collections, indexing basics).

Understanding of REST API principles.

Git workflow knowledge.

Good to Have

Familiarity with Sequelize, Prisma, or Mongoose.

Basic knowledge of Postman orAPI testing tools.

Exposure to JWT/Auth concepts.

Interest in DevOps or deployment (AWS, Render, etc.).
