Job Description

Role Overview: As a Backend Developer at Capgemini, your role will involve developing and maintaining backend services using Node.js. You will design and implement RESTful APIs, integrating them with front-end applications. Utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, and RDS will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will create and manage serverless workflows using Step Functions, optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Implementing error handling, logging, and monitoring using tools like Splunk will also be part of your tasks. Collaboration with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams, as well as participation in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives, will be essential. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, maintaining technical documentation, and participating in code reviews will also be part of your day-to-day activities.
