The role involves developing commercial grade software that is user-friendly and suitable for a global audience. You will be responsible for optimizing applications for quality, usability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability. Verifying your work through automation testing will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance the build and deployment tool chain. Participation in planning activities such as design, architecture and requirements reviews, story grooming, and bug triaging is expected. Collaborating with other engineering teams across the company and participating in code reviews will also be part of your role. To be successful in this role, you should have a B.S in Computer Science or equivalent, along with at least 5 years of experience in building scalable commercial web applications with RESTful data sources. Excellent applied skills in Angular and Node programming are required, as well as full-stack experience, ideally building RESTful web services in a cloud computing environment. Expertise with modern web development tools such as node, npm, git, yarn, webpack, ESLint, and Docker is essential. A deep understanding of Type/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS fundamentals, along with a working knowledge of REST API integration in web applications is necessary. Familiarity with test frameworks like Mocha, Jasmine, and Cypress, as well as CI/CD systems such as Gitlab and Jenkins, will be beneficial.
