As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will involve the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by co-workers into the application. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating strong proficiency with JavaScript - Possessing knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available - Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds - Having a good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc. based on your technology stack - Having a basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 - Understanding accessibility and security compliance based on the specific project requirements - Implementing user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments - Integrating multiple data sources and databases into a unified system - Understanding fundamental design principles behind scalable applications - Recognizing differences between various delivery platforms (mobile vs. desktop) and optimizing output accordingly - Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes - Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests - Proficiently using code versioning tools like Git Skills required for this role: - 3+ years of experience with the Node.js framework - Experience with API technologies such as REST and JSON - Knowledge of database structures and design - General hands-on experience with foundational web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Responsive Design, HTML APIs, and REST APIs - Proficiency with cloud computing services like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure - Experience with Git (forking, branching, merging) - Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude If you meet the above requirements and are passionate about developing scalable applications using Node.js, we encourage you to apply for this role.,
