Node JS Engineer

You will be joining a Y-Combinator-backed startup, Stack, as a Team Lead with 5+ years of experience to manage and lead the full-stack development team. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the development of scalable and high-performance applications, guiding the team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers to successfully deliver projects. - Create a collaborative environment for team growth and knowledge sharing. - Conduct regular code reviews, offer feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices. - Architect, design, and develop efficient backend services using Node.js (Express) and Java Spring Boot. - Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, and other services. - Utilize MongoDB to design, implement, and maintain high-performance database solutions. - Implement Docker and serverless technologies like SST for streamlined deployments and infrastructure management. - Optimize application performance and scalability across the stack. - Ensure security and compliance standards are met throughout development and deployment processes. - Extensive experience in Node.js, AWS, and MongoDB. - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Bonus: Experience with other backend languages like Python. - Bonus: Security knowledge and best practices.
