Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Integration and development of user-facing elements with server-side logic
Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code
Work collaboratively with front-end developers, designers, and other team members
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
Maintain and enhance existing Node.js applications by adding new features and fixing bugs
Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and performance optimization

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Node.js development
Proven experience in developing at least one individual project independently
Strong understanding of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture
Familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries like Express.js, Koa, etc.
Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of API design and integration (RESTful APIs, WebSockets)
Understanding of Git and version control systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
