Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, secure backend systems using
Node.js, TypeScript
, and
AWS
with clean architectural principles.
Develop and optimize
REST APIs, booking engine logic
, and high-performance distributed systems for real-time inventory and pricing.
Manage
PostgreSQL & DynamoDB
, implement
caching (Redis/CDN)
, and ensure high availability with fault-tolerant travel API integrations.
Set up
CI/CD, TDD/BDD automation
, and enforce coding standards through peer reviews and best practices.
Integrate
payment gateways
(UPI, cards, wallets) ensuring
PCI-DSS compliance
and implement
fraud/anomaly detection
.
Monitor production using
observability tools
, ensure DR/HA readiness, and continuously improve system performance at scale.

Mandatory Requirements

Strong proficiency in
JavaScript & TypeScript
, including modern
ES6+ features
.
Deep expertise in
Node.js
with solid understanding of its
event-driven, non-blocking I/O model
.
Hands-on experience with
Express.js
and developing
RESTful APIs
.
Strong command of
asynchronous programming
using
Promises
and
async/await
.
Experience working with
PostgreSQL (relational)
and
DynamoDB (NoSQL)
databases.
