You will be working as a Backend Developer (Django) at Ailaysa Technologies Private Limited located in TICEL Biopark, Taramani, Chennai. Ailaysa Technologies is an AI SaaS platform that focuses on multilingual and multi-modal content creation. The company enables individuals, teams, and enterprises to utilize advanced AI technologies along with human expertise to produce high-quality content and expand their market reach across different languages. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of scalable backend systems that support AI-enabled content creation workflows. You will collaborate closely with frontend teams, product managers, AI/ML engineers, and end-users to build features, enhance system performance, and explore AI-assisted development tools that can boost productivity and innovation speed. Your primary responsibilities at Ailaysa will include delivering scalable and production-ready code, integrating with third-party services and AI/ML pipelines, adhering to coding conventions, maintaining a clean code base, and actively engaging with frontend developers, marketing teams, and product managers to enhance the product. Additionally, you will be expected to write robust unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of the Django REST framework, have 2 to 3 years of experience in web development using Django REST framework, demonstrate a passion for learning new technologies and gaining product domain knowledge, exhibit proactive communication skills, and showcase a collaborative team spirit. Moreover, you should have good knowledge of object-relational mapping (Django ORM), Git, Github, and Docker. While not mandatory, it would be advantageous if you have experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, or prompt-based code generation, familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms, understanding of NLP concepts or AI content generation technologies, basic knowledge of Java and SpringBoot, and exposure to front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
