Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our server infrastructure team. This role involves managing a team of system administrators, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of all server and relevant infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement in infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of server/system administrators. Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual servers (Windows). Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all server systems and services. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and other core infrastructure services. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions. Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues. Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support business needs. Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, diagrams,and asset inventories. Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements. Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives. Provide on-call support and manage incident response for critical server issues. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in server administration, with at least 12 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments. Experience with virtualization platforms (Citrix, Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, etc.). Knowledge related to ansible, terraform and devops framework. Exposure towards infrastructure as code platform. Familiarity with azure cloud platforms is a plus. Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) for automation. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, RHCE, or equivalent are desirable. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
