NOC Engineer Level 1

You will be working as a Level 1 NOC Engineer at Innovatia Technical Services Inc. (ITSI), a renowned technology outsourcing support provider in the telecommunications industry. With a team of over 300 experts worldwide, ITSI caters to Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. **Role Overview:** As a Level 1 NOC Engineer, your main responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining clients" IT infrastructure, troubleshooting issues related to Windows servers and network devices, and resolving incidents and service requests promptly. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor alerts and tickets from monitoring tools to identify and address issues related to Windows servers and network devices. - Perform initial triage and diagnosis of incidents and service requests, escalating to Level 2 support when necessary. - Troubleshoot basic issues related to Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services. - Assist in basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, VLAN configuration, and firewall rules. - Conduct routine maintenance tasks like patch management and software updates for system reliability and security. - Resolve issues from Backup management solutions such as Veeam, Datto, Azure. - Document all incidents, resolutions, and procedures accurately in the ticketing system. - Provide technical assistance to end-users and internal teams, escalating complex issues to senior engineers. - Collaborate with other teams for seamless support and issue resolution. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. - 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role focusing on Windows server administration and network troubleshooting. - Knowledge of Windows server operating systems and Active Directory services. - Familiarity with basic networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques. - Experience with monitoring tools like Connective RMM SolarWinds. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills for professional interactions with clients and internal teams.
