Job Description (Cabinetworks Services India) Job Title: Interior Designer JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for creating kitchen and bathroom designs in 2020 software for retail and dealer partners based on submitted requirements. Responsible for creating takeoffs for builder customers. Provide technical product support to answer high level product questions. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of this role is to support kitchen design and takeoff requests received from external customers (Retail Pro Sales, Dealer Customers, Multi-Family Builders). Requests will be submitted via an approved form that contains the design specifications. The designs created should be ready for sale. Designs should include product specifications, features, and benefits based on customer needs and provide guidance on technical kitchen design. Leverage technology and tools to track progress and increase productivity. Utilize Salesforce.com to track interactions. Support the existing Design Support team in the evaluation of submitted kitchen design requests. Deliver an exceptional end-to-end communication experience, focusing on accuracy and being responsive to multiple inquiries simultaneously. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING REQUIREMENT (As applicable): Familiarity with NKBA Guidelines (National Kitchen and Bath Association) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT (number of years range & notes as applicable) 1-2+ year(s) experience with 2020 Design Software Ability to design complete kitchens, baths, and complete takeoff requests. Ability to identify and suggest areas of improvement with design requests. Ability to suggest areas to reduce cost when needed. Understanding of different product lines offered and ability to suggest which line will be the best fit based on budget and customer needs. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: (MUST HAVE) 1-2+ years of experience with 2020 Design Software 1-2+ years of experience creating kitchen and bathroom designs. 1-2+ years of experience in construction and design industry. Comfortable in a fast-paced sales support environment. Ability to quickly turn around projects. Comfortable accepting feedback and continuing to improve design skills. Experience and competency working with technology to maximize effectiveness (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, and various software applications) PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: (NICE TO HAVE) 1+ year experience with Salesforce Experience supporting sales teams. Ideally experience in construction, home renovation, cabinetry, or related industries. Ability to handle multiple interactions simultaneously while maintaining a positive demeanor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, nonverbal, and presentation). Strong drive for results and consistently meets deadlines.
