We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DM Gastroenterologist to join our medical team at a 200-bedded hospital. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. This role includes performing advanced endoscopic procedures and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary diseases. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as: Upper GI Endoscopy Colonoscopy ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Capsule Endoscopy Provide consultations for both inpatients and outpatients. Manage acute GI emergencies including GI bleeding, hepatic encephalopathy, and pancreatitis. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for chronic GI and liver diseases. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary care. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Participate in clinical research, training, and academic initiatives as applicable. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines. Qualifications & Experience: DM or DNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution (mandatory). Valid medical registration with MCI or respective State Medical Council. Minimum 3 years post-DM experience preferred (freshers may be considered depending on the role). Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional endoscopic procedures. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-centric approach.
