Perform basic setup, calibration, and adjustments of machinery as required. Conduct visual inspections of finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and specifications. Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming products. Perform quality checks using basic measurement tools and gauges. Accurately pack finished goods into designated cartons, cases, or containers. Apply correct labels, barcodes, and other identification marks to products and packaging. Ensure all packaging is secure and ready for shipment. Move raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to and from the back-end production area. Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring materials are stored correctly. Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Minimum of a 10th or 12th standard pass. Experience in a similar "back-end" or finishing role will be an advantage. Freshers with a strong willingness to learn may also be considered. Job Title: Manager – Quick Commerce (FMCG Products) Department : Sales & Business Development / E-commerce Reports To : Head – E-commerce / VP – Sales Location : Vadodara Industry : FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) Role Summary The Manager – Quick Commerce is responsible for driving sales and strategic partnerships with quick commerce platforms (e.g., Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, BigBasket Now) for FMCG products. This role involves end-to-end ownership of category management, sales planning, P&L accountability, and relationship building to maximize visibility and revenue through these fast-paced e-commerce channels. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Strategy & Planning Develop and execute the quick commerce strategy aligned with overall e-commerce and brand objectives. Identify growth opportunities within the Q-commerce ecosystem and create go-to-market plans. Forecast and plan SKU assortment, stock, and promotional calendars based on sales trends and consumer behavior. 2. Channel & Partner Management Own relationships with quick commerce platforms like Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, etc. Manage partner negotiations including margin, listing fees, visibility investments, and joint business plans (JBPs). Drive collaboration for platform events, exclusive launches, and seasonal activations. 3. Category & Assortment Management Ensure the right product assortment, pricing, and inventory availability across platforms. Work closely with internal category, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure product visibility and performance. Track sales performance by SKU/category and recommend interventions. 4. Sales & Revenue Delivery Own and deliver the monthly and quarterly sales targets for the Q-commerce channel. Monitor key metrics (GMV, fill rates, return rates, OOS%) and ensure corrective actions are taken proactively. Drive upselling and bundling strategies to improve average order value and margins. 5. Digital Marketing & Promotions Plan and execute digital campaigns in partnership with platform teams and internal brand marketing. Track ROI on spends, optimize campaign performance, and drive share of voice (SOV). Coordinate content, banners, and media placements for better visibility. 6. Data Analysis & Reporting Generate regular performance reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders. Analyse consumer behaviour, price sensitivity, and competitor performance on Q-commerce platforms. Present insights and strategies to senior management for decision-making. Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of the quick commerce landscape and its operational model. Analytical mindset with strong Excel/Google Sheets and data interpretation skills. Experience with P&L ownership and demand forecasting. Ability to work cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and finance. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Agility to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 4–7 years of experience in FMCG sales, e-commerce, or Q-commerce management.
