Role & responsibilities Pre-check chiller before start, water treatment for cooling tower to maintain desired PH/TH/TDS Preventive maintenance of pumps as per schedule, filter cleaning of Nitrogen plant, Nitrogen Plant and Air Compressor as per OEM guidelines Charging the ammonia to maintain the required level of gas in the system Maintain the temperature as per process requirement Able to trouble shoot the mechanical problems, mechanical seal of pumps and identify the root cause & remedies of problems for non-recurrence independently Check the Cold Insulation condition, if damage then told to supervisor to repairing work. Train the sub-ordinate related to Utility Operation & their safety. Confirm all the interlocks are healthy before starting the chiller. Check the oil level /Temp of screw compressor/Loading, unloading hours & record the same in log book. Ensure good housekeeping in and around work area. Use of all required PPE Prompt reporting of any abnormality, deviation, near miss, accident, incident to HSE dept. Conduct joint safety inspections with HSE Dept. representative Compliance as per area safety checklists. Implementation of HSE Policies, procedures, practices and systems at work area. Comply with Safety Rules and regulations. Preferred candidate profile ITI in refrigeration / Diploma in refrigeration with 2 to 5 years of work experience from Chemical Industry.
