Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain GCMS and GC instruments for analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Perform method development, validation, and routine analysis as per approved protocols. Prepare samples, reagents, and calibration standards with accuracy and attention to detail. Analyze sample data, interpret chromatograms, and record results accurately. Maintain and troubleshoot GCMS and GC systems, including routine preventive maintenance. Ensure proper calibration of instruments and verify system suitability before analysis. Document all activities, observations, and results in a timely, accurate, and organized manner. Investigate deviations, out-of-specification results, and system malfunctions; report findings to QC Manager. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), GMP guidelines, and safety protocols. Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of laboratory glassware, tools, and chemicals. Assist in preparing reports, batch records, and data for internal audits and regulatory inspections. Keep abreast of advancements in GCMS and GC technologies and recommend improvements. * Qualifications and Experience Educational Qualification : B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline. Experience : Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in operating GCMS and GC instruments in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or analytical laboratory. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, GLP, GMP). Good understanding of chromatographic principles and mass spectrometry techniques.
