The role of a QC Lead at Techflow involves conducting quality checks on models and drawings in accordance with standards and codes. You will collaborate with the project manager/team leader for issue resolution, prepare QC RFIs, review shop drawings, address technical queries, and ensure adherence to project requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the QC team, distribute tasks, maintain project schedules, and uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. We are looking for a QC Lead to join our team in locations including Navi Mumbai, Jalgaon, Nashik, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Goa, and Hubali. The ideal candidate should possess a full-time B.Tech. or B.E./Diploma in Civil/Mechanical with a minimum of 3 years of experience in drawings and model checking. Proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, Bluebeam software, MS Office, and familiarity with industry standards such as AISC, NISD, IBC, CISC, and OSHA is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, analytical skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication with internal teams and clients. As a 3D Modeling and Detailing Specialist for structural steel projects, your key responsibilities will include developing accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures, creating various types of drawings, and ensuring the proper modeling of steel connections. You will work closely with structural engineers, architects, fabricators, and site teams to implement design specifications and maintain drawing accuracy through collaboration with detailers, checkers, and project managers. Performing clash detection, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and generating necessary documentation will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field along with at least 11 years of experience in Tekla modeling for structural steel projects. Proficiency in Tekla Structures, understanding of steel fabrication, welding symbols, and connection details, as well as the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings are essential technical skills required. Moreover, knowledge of AISC, NISD, and OSHA standards is crucial. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
