Role & responsibilities Lead, plan, and execute sales strategies across the assigned zone to achieve business targets for various seed segments (field crops, vegetables, hybrids, OP, Biologicals etc.). Monitor and guide Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Managers, and field staff on product positioning, demos, and channel development. Develop annual sales budgets, forecasts, and market penetration plans tailored to each state/district in the zone. Build and manage strong relationships with dealers, distributors, institutional buyers, and government procurement agencies. Oversee execution of marketing campaigns, farmer meetings, field days, and promotional events in collaboration with the marketing team. Ensure timely product availability, sales reporting, and credit control through coordination with supply chain, dispatch, and accounts departments. Drive team motivation, Train, coach, and develop the field force to enhance productivity and team performance. Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure ethical and transparent business practices across the zone. Report monthly, quarterly, and annual zone-level performance to senior management Preferred candidate profile
