It aims to improve developer productivity, efficiency, and experience. With Backstage, developers can: Explore a comprehensive Service Catalog, featuring APIs, tools, and services. Access unified documentation, eliminating knowledge silos. Leverage self-service capabilities, automating workflows and reducing dependencies. Unlocking Productivity : By embracing Backstage, organizations can: Enhance developer productivity, saving time and effort. Foster collaboration, promoting knowledge sharing and communication. Improve overall efficiency, driving innovation and growth. Backstage: In the IDP zone, Backstage is a key enabler, providing a robust platform for: Service catalog management Documentation and knowledge management Self-service automation Integration with CI/CD tools Job responsibilities: Design and develop quality code in an agile approach adhering to the business requirements. Deploy the code to production and deliver timely fixes. Develop and maintain the Service Catalog, ensuring accurate and up-to-date service information. Develop domain knowledge. Take ownership of what you build and coordinate your efforts across the teams to ensure proper completion. Self-Service and Automation: Design and implement self-service features for developers, reducing dependencies on ops teams. Automate workflows and processes using Backstage's APIs and tools. Integrate Backstage with existing tools, services, and systems, ensuring seamless interactions. Develop APIs and interfaces for integrating Backstage with other platforms. Involve in the development of a revamp developer-centric Backstage UI by leveraging AI to enhance the functionality and user experience. Contribute to optimize the SDLC phases (build and development) within the Backstage platform and help to improve efficiency and developer workflows. Participate and contribute to Agile ceremonies including daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts, and retrospectives. Education, Experience, & Skills Required: 2 to 4 years of experience in software development role. Experience in an Agile environment preferred. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Significant software engineering skills (SDLC) with high quality and agile driven delivery. Knowledge and expertise in programming languages : , Typescript , Javascript, node.js Working knowledge on React and its components like react hooks Proficient in API integration, consuming and exposing REACT APIs Familiarity with database like PostgreSQL Knowledge on AWS services like EC2, ECS, Lambda and so on.
