Job Title: QMS Executive Industry: Sheet Metal Manufacturing Automobile Components Location: Faridabad (Delhi NCR) Experience: 4 - 8 Years Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical) / Diploma (Mechanical) Job Purpose The QMS Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) across the manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with ISO/IATF standards, supports continuous improvement, and strengthens overall product and process quality within the sheet metal automotive components division. Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Management System (QMS) Operations Manage day-to-day quality operations in alignment with organizational QMS requirements. Ensure implementation, monitoring, and improvement of QMS processes across departments. Maintain documentation and quality records as per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. 2. Quality Assurance & Compliance Lead quality assurance activities from product design to mass production. Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits. Ensure adherence to ISO, IATF, and customer-specific requirements. 3. IATF Documentation (Mandatory Requirement) Prepare, update, and control IATF documents including manuals, procedures, work instructions, and formats. Support process owners in complying with IATF standards and audit readiness. 4. Data Analysis & Quality Tools Analyze production and quality data using SPC techniques to identify trends and variations. Apply 7 QC Tools for problem-solving and process improvement. Prepare PPAP documentation (Level 1–5) including FMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, MSA, and Dimensional Reports. 5. Continuous Improvement Participate in root cause analysis and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Support initiatives like Kaizen, 5S, and process optimization for quality enhancement. Ensure implementation of customer feedback and corrective measures. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 requirements. Hands-on experience with PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and other automotive core tools. Proficiency in SPC, 7QC Tools, MSA, and data-based decision-making. Ability to conduct audits and manage end-to-end QMS documentation. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of sheet metal processes (press shop, welding, fabrication, surface treatment) preferred. Preferred Attributes Certification in IATF Internal Auditor / Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) Experience with OEM/Tier-1 automotive suppliers Knowledge of APQP & VDA 6.3 audits
