Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns, ensuring their safety and comfort while supporting their families during challenging times. This role requires a strong clinical background in neonatal nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for neonates in the NICU.
  • Monitor vital signs and manage complex medical equipment used in the care of premature and critically ill infants.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to families regarding their infant's condition and care needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the NICU.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in a NICU or pediatric nursing setting is highly desirable.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; additional certifications such as STABLE or CCRN-NIC may be beneficial.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
