Responsibilities Responsible for leading software application backend design, development, delivery, and maintenance. Evaluate and select alternative technical solutions for identified requirements with knowledge of backend and J2EE application development. Work with an onshore team to clarify business requirements into product features, acting as a liaison between business and technical teams. Resolve technical issues and provide technical support. Provide technical guidance and assistance to other software engineers. Prepare staffing plan and allotment of resources. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related area (equivalent work experience will be considered). 1+ years' experience in developing business applications in a full software development life cycle using web technologies. 1+ years' experience in Software development analysis and design (UML). Advanced experience with Node.js, ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Python and web service integration Have a solid technical background in J2EE, Structs, Spring, Hibernate, and MuleSoft. Experience in PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Nginx, Docker, Redis, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, Web Service, WebSphere/JBoss/WebLogic. Experience using at least one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP. Prefer deep understanding with Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Delta Lake and Lakehouse. Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data processing applications using Apache Spark in Databricks. Capable of writing efficient Spark jobs in languages such as Scala, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL. Familiarity with the application and integration of Generative AI, Prompt Engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs) in enterprise solutions. Demonstrate the ability to independently design and implement the backend of an entire business module.
