As a part of India's largest and most admired news network, your role will involve overseeing the production and execution of news and news shows to ensure high-quality content delivery. You will be responsible for creating and compiling content for assigned shows, which includes tasks such as cutting graphics, selecting sound bites, and incorporating other key elements based on editorial requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams including reporters, research desk, guest coordination, assignment desk, PCR, video editing, and online graphics to bring together different elements of a show. Your duties will also include developing and reviewing rundowns for assigned shows to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to editorial standards. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in broadcast journalism and a strong understanding of news programming. It is essential to have awareness of the current economy and geopolitical scenario. The ability to multitask and manage real-time updates in a fast-paced newsroom environment is crucial. Excellent coordination and communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively across multiple teams. Proficiency in news production tools and a keen eye for compelling storytelling are also desirable qualities.
