News Anchor

Key Responsibilities:

• Present and record news bulletins, interviews, and feature stories for the web portal and social media channels.
• Research, write, and edit news scripts suitable for digital platforms.
• Conduct on-camera interviews with guests, experts, and correspondents.
• Collaborate with the editorial and video production teams to ensure high-quality, factual, and engaging content.
• Stay updated on current affairs, trending topics, and breaking news.
• Engage viewers through live sessions, short video segments, and social media updates.
• Maintain professionalism and credibility during live and recorded broadcasts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
• Prior experience as a News Anchor, Reporter, or Digital Presenter preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong camera presence, clear diction, and confident delivery.
• Understanding of digital media trends and audience engagement.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle breaking news situations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with video editing and digital publishing tools.
• Experience in social media content creation or live streaming.
• Bilingual or multilingual presentation ability.
