As a Security Administrator at Pragati Power Corporation Limited, C&M department, located in PPS-I, 220 KV substation Building, First floor, IP Estate, Ring Road, New Delhi-110002, your primary responsibility will be to monitor computer networks for security issues. You will be required to understand and implement the Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and Indicators of Attacks (IoAs) shared by various cyber security agencies like NCIIPC, CERT-In, MHA, etc within the organization. Additionally, you may need to conduct cyber security vulnerability assessments (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) of network and IT assets using freewares/open source software when necessary. Your role will involve analyzing logs generated in firewall, anti-virus servers, etc. on a daily basis to identify any security procedure violations or lapses in the organization's security posture. It will be essential to communicate any findings to the management. You will also contribute to developing companywide best practices for IT security and assist colleagues in installing security software while enhancing their understanding of information security management. Furthermore, research on new cyber security enhancements will be part of your duties, and you will be expected to make recommendations to the management. Collaboration with the security and network team to conduct tests and identify network vulnerabilities is crucial. In case of security breaches or other cyber security incidents, you will be responsible for investigating and taking appropriate actions. To maintain a high security standard, you will work closely with the network administrator and System & DB Architect to fix detected vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate should hold a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA degree in Computer Science (CS)/Information Technology (IT)/Electronics & Communications. Additionally, possessing a valid certificate of Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)/Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) or an equivalent certification from a reputed OEM is necessary. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Information Security/Cyber Security post initial cyber security certification is required. This is a contractual/temporary position with a contract length of 24 months. The benefits include Provident Fund, and the work mode is onsite at the specified location in New Delhi.,
